Sure, your ticket (Boarding Pass) will get you back in. Be careful to check the time. If you're leaving the airport, traffic and TSA have a way of making life miserable. Your luggage will automatically be placed on your next flight.
Just make sure younhave your boarding pass to re-enter the airport gates.
As long as you have your ticket, you may leave the airport and come back to make your connecting flight.
