I will be staying at Chatfield Campsites tonight, and I will be arriving late. Do they close the gates at a certain time? Will I not be able to get in it I arrive at midnight or so?

No, they do not close the gate. You can enter either side of the park after hours.

There is a seperate location to enter if you have park pass. We arrived late for a reservation and had no issues just this last weekend.

No there is a place after the gate box to purchase state park pass. You will need to have this each day by 12 noon. Enjoy, its a wonderful place to stay. I want to be back there now
