I go to both a lot. Id say Kukai gives a little more than Marukin. Theyre both same level of ramen in my opinion. If i was forced to choose which one tastes better, id say Marukin. However, Kukai has a full menu and more ramen options, and more customization available

Kizuki is always your best place for Ramen.

I prefer kizuki over marukin. Broth is better, portions and noodle type hands down better. You can also upgrade to pork belly for an additional 50 cents

Kizuki hands down better, my wife is Japanese, she likes it, best Portland option

The bowls are bigger at Kizuki. Kizuki is an international ramen chain.

I'll add. Marukin is definitely better, but Kizuki is a slightly bigger serving portion

A little more at Kizuki. Marukin was better in my opinion, but this place was a close second. Bigger portions at kizuki, but lower quality I'd say. The broth at Marukin was outstanding i thought. If i was to guess at the portion size, id say it was 1.25x more at Kizuki. Hubert below nailed it. The options at Kizuki are great.
