One of the best parks in North Portland. There are 2 sides of the park and it is a few city blocks large. There is a public pool, a kids play area, trails to walk or run and lots of beautiful trees.

Wonderful walk under old growth evergreens. Beautiful flowing bushes and plenty of benches to take a rest. Kids enjoy the playgrounds at both parks. Features baseball/softball fields as well as soccer and tennis courts. Bathrooms are often open and are cleaned regularly.

Beautiful Park with paved paths and lots of open spaces and specimen trees and plantings.

This is a great park! Family friendly and seems safe. Great happy clean positive environment! We have a great time here! Theirs tons of different play equipment that you don't get everywhere else. Theirs benches and table areas everywhere, and different sections of the park so people can jog, play, have a BBQ or picnick and eat! walk dogs, or dogs can run around through the open fields. It's a very open spread out park !! This place is an all around great place to have lots of fun!!

Yes brick and mortar running water, attended and locked daily.
I think two baseball diamonds and an open field for "pickup" futbol/football games, and a great indoor community pool!
I would say washington park, they have a geart playground with Nike donated materal for the playground, a rubberized pavement so very safe for little ones, lots of discovery toys on the playground. only draw back is the parking meters, if you ever go across the river to vancouver , ester short parks is also nice. Summer time really nice water misting area for kids
