Is there handicapped access, specifically is there an elevator from the Platform to the street and vice versa from the street level to the Platform level at Van Buren?

There are elevators for both platforms, however I am not sure they are working currently. I suggest contacting the metra station to find out if they are working before making your trip. They have a tendency to need a lot of maintenance.

Not on Michigan and Can Buren. You'll have to go 3 blocks North to Washington and Michigan to get on at Millinieum station.
