It is a fine covered train station. Buy your tickets through the Ventra app. Zero good places to get coffee or lock-up your bike.

Quite the "In-con-vee-ience."

This isn't one of the better Metra stops. Virtually no amenities, just two platforms surround by desolation. The only reason I could see using this station is to connect with the Pink line or a bus, since it's so close to downtown that you're probably better off taking the L (it's maybe a 15-minute ride with service every 10 minutes). Maybe take it to Aurora or Naperville, but that's it. Also wouldn't be surprised if you got mugged here at night (since it's poorly lit and desolate)

7 bucks for a Sunday and Saturday pass. 10 bucks for weekend pass. These are unlimited rides. I think it's about 7-8 bucks one way during the week.
On the north Side of the tracks. The center is for inbound trains. Take the steps on the hill outside the viaduct for outbound.
No but you can buy your ticket on the train. No penalty because there isn't a ticket booth.
