We were able to enter and find parking mid-day on a Thursday, but it was very busy. There were at least 15 cars parked out on Highway 1 too. Be prepared for crowds!
I have been multiple weekdays and did not have any trouble parking, but weekends.... had to park on side of highway then walk in.
I went on a friday afternoon and found a parking spot right away and there were people around but not crowded at all
Weekdays aren't too bad. But they can still be busy through October. Typically Wednesdays are the least crowded days.
