When the parking garage is complete in December handicapped parking will be on the ground level for direct entrance.
There is a ton of handicap spaces available around the facility
Arrive about an hour early for handicap parking. Fills up quickly.
Parking garage is up and working as of 12-15-17. It looks like it is not ready, but when you approach it the signs say open and it is on the ground floor next to the Center Stage theater.

The covered disabled parking spots fill up quickly, so it's wise to arrive an hour early. I've seen shows with and without my wheelchair, and ushers are happy to accommodate your needs. Disabled seating is at the top, but the two theatres are an intimate experience (one theater has 10 rows). There's really not a bad seat in the house. Sometimes, a theater critic or assistant will pull a chair up next to you, but they're quiet and respectful. It's actually interesting to talk with them during intermission. I've been pleased with the quality of performances. "Aida" has been my favorite so far. Occasionally the acting and dancing g are terrific, but some of the singing is mediocre. In those instances, I wish that Hale would consider back up singers and/or more instrumental accompaniment. Overall, however, Hale Theatre does a great job, and it's a lovely venue set in the suburbs. Many local patrons don't even need the freeway to reach this special destinatiion!
There are about 50 handicap parking spots in the parking garage adjacent to the theatre. All spots are covered, as well as the entrance to the theatre!
Plenty of ground floor handicap parking
