I have a question concerning The “Take a Name “ app. If the names are listed on this app does it mean all the information necessary for ordinance work is there, or are we required to check and make sure all the information is correct and available.

Since "Take a name" and other similar apps just draw information from FamilySearch, there is no extra checking done to verify anything. It's suggested that you double check the information, making sure it looks right (mother not born after the child, husband not born 100 years before the wife, etc.)

Its always wise to check first and make sure the information is correct.
