my vehicle was reported stolen in Sandy around June, Vehicle was towed by a towing company in South Jordan, and I am being charged $650 to get my car out of Impound

Check to make sure they called it into the police when they towed it. Get the street check number to prove it. Then call the police and check when they called it in. If it was called in after you reported it stolen then the police messed up and they should pay for it. Also the towing company should have send certified letters to the owners after 3 business days to notify them.
