First of all, we do not charge a fine if your registration is late or expired. If it is revoked, then there can be a penalty for no insurance. If your vehicle is expired, then when you get it fixed, you can go to the DMV, tell them your vehicle has been out of service so you can be updated to the current month, pay your registration fee and a extra $6 and get on a 15 day permit.

If you want to register, simply go in and pay the fine and registration, they will give you a temp plate, till you can finish inspection, if you need that. If you want to tow it to a garage to fix it, just go for it and register after ward.
