The one star is for the side trail, or lack thereof, to the falls. First, there is no sign indicating where the falls are from the main trail. The root system is severely eroded with a steep drop-off to the left. After passing the falls by half a mile before realizing we missed the falls we never saw the falls. The Forest Service should improve or close off this dangerous and degraded site.

Been hunting for good waterfall hikes and this one is incredible & my current favorite. Hike through lush forest that feels like a jungle, occasionally meet small waterfalls and breathtaking views along the way. The view at the top and the large waterfall waiting for you is the cherry on top of a stunning and not too challenging hike. Highly recommended!

Yep! Keep them leashed we saw a ton of wildlife and my dog loves a good chase.
