Will human society take pets that their owner moved and left them behind?

I hate these kind of situations. where I live people come and go all the time constantly leaving animals behind. sad

Yep. Surrender to the pound and hope the humane society saves them. Even though they are connected with animal control they don't save animals that need homes automatically
