No, I've heard Summerville is probably the next place they would consider but that's pure rumor. KKD was burned a few years ago during a massive expansion. I haven't checked their financials in years but they may just be trying to avoid that mistake again.
There was one at the corner of Ashley Phosphate and Rivers but it closed, and way back in the day there was one on Rivers Ave right by Cosgrove. Im not sure if they intend on building another one.
The Post and Courier reported that they were going to build one at Ladson near Palmetto Parkway beside the Bojangles. It was to open in 2018. The land has been cleared, but no construction of any kind. And now a sign saying "available". So perhaps it fell through. Bummer. I was looking forward to it. I won't go to Savannah highway.
