There's a pretty substantial beach that you can hike to, IDK why you couldn't dig for whatever there, as long as you returned it to how you found it.
Çaumsett state park nice and beautiful. you can enjoy with your family and a big Parking stand. I love this park.
This is an historical state park, you can only hike, bike,walk, and fish....
