Blydenburgh is not a trail sanctioned by the local trail building organization, Concerned Long Island Mountain Bikers(CLIMB). They are in charge of all of the mountain bike trail building that goes on in and around the island. There are few trails that arent sanctioned that are mountain biking friendly, like Sunken Meadow. However, this park is strictly a hiking path, and there is reason behind it. If many people decide to use the trails for mountain biking, it will cause erosion on the trails from the tread and will severely damage the trail if done. This is why there are designated hiking trails and biking trails. Most hiking trails aren't mountain biking trails, however many biking trails can be used as hiking trails. Hope this clears up any confusion.
Yes it is a narrow path bicycle won't be a good idea.
On the roads there, certainly. I believe the trails are limited to pedestrians.
I wouldn't personally, it's a tight path others walking around the pond. Bike may cause interference
