I knew the Gordons while growing up. Good people, and longtime Emersonians. Many people from Emerson choose this facility, because of convenience. I should know, because we made the same mistake. Anyone who still holds a preconceived notion about the Armenian Home, should think again. They have done an absolute 360 degree change. They employ Registered Nurses instead of Licensed Professional Nurses, and they actually answer the patient's call buzzers, unlike this place! Unfortunately, by the time I got around to reconsider the Armenian Home, it was too late for my parents. Don't let it be too late for yours! It's good to see that people are actually posting real reviews, rather than the phony, BS reviews, that are clear as day! Remember, "if it sounds too good to be true...."
I was told that the company providing the rehab services is not good. From what I saw, the people doing the therapy weren't very kind. I may need to have knee replacement surgery soon, and this is truly the last place I would go to rehab. I grew up in Emerson, we still live in Emerson, and this is one place for everyone to avoid! Social services in Hackensack should know which rehab places are legitimate. I will do outpatient PT and in-home, but my son-in-law is a PT so I'm fortunate to have his help.
"Rehab?" An absolute joke at this facility. Worse than this, and if you have your loved one taken into the Emerson Health and Rehabilitation Center on a stretcher, in a short span of time, you may end up having to have them taken out of there in a body bag!! STAY AWAY! This place is so bad, that once the pieces to the full picture come together, one of the doctors there may end up being featured on the Oxygen Network. Deadly indeed.......
