I went back to back dinners last week, once in a suit with a client and then the next night slumming solo totally dressed down... They didn't treat me any different and it was great both dinners also I saw plenty of people dressed up and dressed down both times. Do what makes you the most happy!
You'll fit in there either way. Formal clothing is optional, but welcome.
Sounds perfect! My family dressed more down, and we didn't feel out of place.
