This place is not worthy, always so crowded, you have to seat next to other people you don't know. Coffee is so thin as tea coffee, waffles are made out of flour and water nothing special, we order sausage there was tiny bones in the patties, ham sag

Our experience was really bad, service was ok but not food. We were so anxious to try new places in Washington but this places and we did but this place is nothing special.

Crowded but good

I've always had good food and good service, albeit some times felt a little rushed. The service is good though; they don't really rush you. It is usually crowded though, as you may expect for a place that always had good food and good service. Great place for tourist, or anybody, to stop in for breakfast before visiting Ford's Theater. Be aware the place is usually crowded, plane ahead.

Sorry to hear you had a bad experience. Ours was was great. The coffee was dark and strong waffles were tasty. We had both links and parties and very thick bacon. No complaints from us. Yes it was crowded. We met some pretty cool people there as well. If you dont like crowds and having strangers sitting near you than this place isn't for you. IHOP or another franchise chain resturant may be more to your liking. For me I have a large family and am used to the cramped spaces an unique dietary experiences. If you are looking for a cool place to eat in DC, you should check out the Department of Agriculture. The food is cafeteria style but it was top notch and inexpensive.
