If I pick up my pies a week before Thanksgiving, do I have to freeze them in order for them to taste fresh on Thanksgiving day? If I order my pies in advance, will I have to wait on line with everyone else?

Definitely freeze. Then thaw then bake

Thanks for your message. Yes, it is best that you freeze the pies, if you are picking them up that far in advance. The fruit pies and pumpkin pies can be frozen, but we do not recommend freezing the cream pies. Please ask for freezing and reheating directions when you are here, or see our website: www.briermerefarms.com. (We do not recommend thawing the pies first before heating in the oven.) We will have 2 counters open for pie pickup --- both are for orders and non-orders alike.
