Anytime he can start
Anytime. He will need a physical from his doc, especially if he will be sparring or in competition. I'm not sure he will need it if he's jus training. But, also if he's sparring or in competition he will also need a USA Boxing registration. $65 a year for an Upton Membership and $75 and year for USA Boxing registration. The coaches will take care of him and put him around guys of similar talent and guys that will challenge him to make him a better fighter.
