They can be very dismissive so you just have to be persistent. Go in person and ask to file a report. Once they process it, you will have to get the copy in the mail or in person from a different location downtown.
Don't think I'll bother reporting it. I leave on 22nd and soubds too nerve racking. I hope the person who found my purse and kept the money has a good Christmas coz I won't. Had $500 to buy gifts for people back home, I'm on holiday from Scotland. They won't be getting a present. Merry Christmas!
You need to do in person. Did you call bloomingdale to asked if someone founded? It seems like lost property.
