Something is wrong with the power/charging. Computer will charge if I position power cable justly. Power cable is fine. Though I can not diagnose the problem, I believe problem to be internal power malfunction.

Sounds like the power socket on the computer, these like your phone's USB connectors usually wear out after a few years
