My step-dad is down there now and I'm pretty sure he said you can reserve. Its pretty much like she said first come first serve but there wasn't a lot of people there unless you want a power unit then they were all taken
It's first come,first serve. Which does make it difficult to plan anything. Especially driving into blue bend just to see if there is a spot to set up. I would always try to go Thursday or Wednesday and get a spot picked out and pay for the days I'm staying. That's if I am wanting to go for the weekend. It's usually full on the weekends.
As far as I know you cannot reserve a spot first come first serve
