Why are they saying you're the fake one on FB? The Lantern Fest 7 hrs · Hi, TR here, creator of Lantern Fest. For the past 2 years, we’ve been dealing with a copycat event dubbed “lights fest”.

I've never been to the Lantern Festival but I've been to two of the Lights Fest events, they aren't "fake." To me, that sounds like Lantern Fest doesn't like the competition. But I'm pretty sure sky lantern launches started in China thousands of years ago so it's funny that the owner calls it a copy cat, Lantern Fest definitely did not create this idea ;) haha Lights Fest was awesome though!

Definitely not fake. I never heard of the other one. Probably just to create drama, get people talking or for them to try and generate business too.
