Batteries of all types are accepted in the Hard-to-Recycle Yard at the Timberline Recycling Center (open Tuesday - Saturday; Winter hours (Nov - March) 8-4:30 pm; 8 am - 6 pm regular hours). Through a new program established this year, there is no fee to recycle batteries, along with paint, motor oil, and antifreeze.
