Yeah but when you go on the first day of open enrollment for school of choice, the second you say you live in Orion Lakes they tell you enrollment is full. Pretty convenient... Oh and check out the school district map. Notice how the boundary lines conveniently cut out only the Trailer Park from the Lake Orion School District. Complete B.S. and the Pontiac School district is a joke. If you have or are thinking of having kids and would like them to receive an actual education, I would definitely not recommend moving in here.
Pontiac schools
If you are using bus transportation then the school district to enroll your children will be Pontiac School District. Middle school is Pontiac Middle. Please note Lake Orion Community Schools are a school of choice and is located very close to Orion Lakes. Please remember you must enroll your children during the school of choice application window time frame and bus transportation is not provided. Thank you. :)
