Definitely not. These machines, although appearing similar to steam machines, are the wrong tool for ice dam removal. They aren't hot enough, which will just cost you more money in increased labor time. They use too much pressure, which can damage your shingles and even perforate your roof .They use too much water, which can flood the ground around your home, creating a whole new ice problem.
Great question! Raindrop Gutter Guards have the best warranty in the industry. It has top-notch durability. Their high capacity open-slotted design makes them far superior to other gutter guards such as Gutter Helmet style covers. Only the best for you Michigan home.
Yes we can! It's called Gutter Brightening. What you probably didn’t know is that dingy look on your gutters probably isn’t dirt. It’s most likely oxidization, and that requires a special method for cleaning. And, we are experts on this!
Yes, Steam machines work at very low pressures (totally safe for your shingles), much lower volumes of water (very little water will actually hit the ground) and much higher temperatures (the ice will melt faster, resulting in less water usage).
Yes! Our specialized equipment generates 325 F degree steam that quickly and gently cuts through and thaws ice dams like butter. Your roof and gutters will be 100% free of ice dams in a matter of hours. These rapid results can save you thousands of dollars in potential indoor water damage.
It's simple- we send you photos of the completed work after we are done. That gives you peace of mind that we did what you paid us to do. We actually take it one step further. Lake State Cleaning is the only company in Oakland County that offers a 14-day No Clog Guarantee.
Yes. Raindrop Gutter Guards reduce the need for gutter cleaning & maintenance in your Orion Township, MI home, but you should still have at least an annual maintenance cleaning to make sure the tops of the guards are free of debris.
Yes, they definitely are! They perform wonderfully. They allow small harmless bits of debris to get through into the tray, while keeping out large problem-causing debris. They are easy to maintain. Raindrop is easy to remove/replace as needed, and the large slots allow us to easily see into the trays to assess possible issues. They are affordable. Raindrop typically costs half of what competing products like Gutter Helmet and Leaf Filter do. This is one good investment for your Lake Orion, MI home and we can help you out with the installation!
No. Power washing is too much pressure for roofs and can damage shingles. We soft wash roofs. This is how we make sure that the roof of your Oakland County MI home is clean but undamaged.
No, you don't! We are happy to perform the work in your Michigan home and process your payment after it's completed. We'll email you a receipt and the photos of your clean gutters, usually within just a couple of hours.
Yes, we do! Limestone requires special care and we are experts on that!
Power washing alone won't remove the root causes of organic staining. In many cases, the mold, mildew and algae will begin to grow back immediately after you've power washed the surface. Our detergent application, both before and after power washing, terminates organic growth to the root. This not only results in immediately beautiful results but also long lasting ones.
All of our technicians are background checked, drug tested, and covered by a bond policy. We don't hire subcontractors, we don't 1099 workers to avoid paying taxes, and we don't hire temp workers or summer help. Every one of our technicians is a trained professional. We have a rigorous online 5-star training program before they ever set foot on a jobsite. We believe we have the best trained and vetted technicians in the state.
No, yes, and yes. The state of Michigan has no licensing for exterior cleaning. If it did, we would be first in line for a license. We do carry $2 Million in the best General Liability coverage money can buy. And our technicians are covered by an additional umbrella policy and a bonding policy.
Absolutely! If your gutters develop a new problem within two weeks of service, just give us a call. We'll return promptly to address the issue, and at no cost to you!
Yes, every installation package includes a free Ultimate Gutter Cleaning service.
No, we don’t. We can clean wood decks, but we don’t stain or seal them.
Chemical ice melt products just don't work. They only melt small portions of the ice dam. They take forever to work. The corrosive chemicals can damage your shingles and surrounding landscaping. Our specialized equipment generates 325 F degree steam that quickly and gently cuts through and thaws ice dams.
Absolutely not! High pressure cleaning can destroy your delicate siding and cause leaks inside your home! We let our detergents do the work, which allows us to use a gentle application and rinse. Same goes for your roof.
Black streaks on shingle roofs are caused by an algae called gleocapsa magma. This algae feeds on the limestone granule coating that is present on most shingles. Over time, these algae colonies can grow and spread over wide spaces. Their telltale black streaks are most commonly seen on the north sides of most roofs, where extra shade and moisture provide the ideal environment for growth.
It's important to understand that, in cases of extremely heavy rain, ANY gutter protection product can struggle to keep up. It's perfectly normal to see some drainage overflow in the rare case that we get extreme rainfall.
Generally, no. After we do Gutter Cleaning in your Oakland County MI home, we bag up the debris and leave it in a place you designate, so it’s ready for your trash pickup day. If you would like us to take the debris, we can do that. We charge a small fee.
