Christie's has a website. I suggest you communicate with them directly
1. Contact appraisal department at C. 2. Describe your itemaccurately with dates of manufacture and marks. Provide images. 3. State provenance. 4. They only accept things with a certain minimum value...probably 5k. Maybe 10k. 5. Don't send anything until you get a contract with them. 6. There are many local auctioneers that are more effective than Christies and sothebys for medium value pieces. Liveauctioneers is a remarkable resource
