Do not deal with this auction house, especially if you're an international bidder. They sold me a broken item that wasn't as described on the auction page. Sent them an email, but they're ignoring me. Also, their shipping fee is insane. I'm going to do my best to warn future buyers about them. I'm also going to file a report to the ministry of trade so they can block them off coming in from customs.

Review for their shipping policy: Their shipping speed after an item is won at auction is abominable. 7-14+ days just for them to pack it up and drop it in the mail. And one needs to pay $20+ for this very sluggish mailing service. Otherwise, I am thrilled with my purchase and the price I paid for it. Update: After Heritage replied to me here I reached out to them. They are shipping my coin out overnight delivery. This is my first purchase with them. If I make another purchase through them in the future I will bare in mind their ordinary shipment timeframe is about two weeks after the item is paid.

I've dealt with Jason in the sports and collectibles area. So far so good waiting for response to some basketball cards that I have for sale.

Consigned a good amount of items with Heritage Auction and they couldn't have put in less effort to sell my items. I could've sold them for more on eBay and I would've gotten paid way quicker and it would've taken less time. Considering they take 20% hammer fee and then another 15% on top of that I'd say it's not worth selling through HA. Just sell it on your own or go elsewhere.

You can get your coins appraised through Heritage at one of our locations or by sending in pictures through our online form. I'd suggest calling to make an appointment, but you are welcome to stop by our NY location during business hours. Visit the coins department and look for the free appraisal form.

Ed, Thank you for your question. Some gold coins will be worth much more because of higher grade condition, rarity of date and/or mint mark. A great many of them are worth little more than the value of their gold content. The Official Red Book would be a great tool to use to determine. Question?
I'm just a customer. You would need to contact Heritage directly. And your question is not clear as to the actual object. Photo? Yearbook?
Approximately $.01 Congrats!
Your penny, if copper, is VERY likely to not be genuine. But you may as well just directly contact the experts....call Heritage.
It sounds far too cheap for Heritage but try emailing or calling them. And keep them in mind if you find a Brashner Doubloon
