If your child is old enough to recognize and smile at some Sesame Street Muppets, then you're good. Besides that every age will find something interesting.

We generally say ages 8 and up, but with the addition of The Jim Henson Exhibition, and hands-on activities in our Moving Image Studio (Sat & Sun, 11am to 4pm and during holiday weeks), there are exhibits and programs that appeal to younger visitors (ages 4 and up, with the Studio, even younger, ages 2+). Mornings at MoMI sessions (first and last Saturdays of the month) are designed for a wide range of ages, including younger children. Note that some objects and exhibits in our core exhibition Behind the Screen may be scary for very small children (props and materials from horror and thriller films). Please ask our visitor services staff for guidance upon arrival.
