What are you looking to take? Methadone or Suboxone/Subutex? This place doesn't write Rx's for methadone; You must dose daily at the clinic but about every 90-120 days you can phase up & earn "take-home" doses (starting at 1, then 3,4,5, & up, depending on your phase) as long as you are compliant (i.e. attending required classes, no dirty UA's, etc.) I'm not 100% sure about the Suboxone/Subutex rules, but I know it's similar whereas you must dose daily until a trust level/proven success in treatment is obtained & then I believe you can be given Rx's for some of your days. Don't quote me on that as I'm not on Suboxone/Subutex. Dr. Augustin Nerva @ Murray Fork Clinic on Morganton Road will start out writing you a weekly Rx of Subs & then as long as you're UA is opiate free at your next appt., he'll write a Rx for up to 1 month of Subs, dependent upon how much you pay of the total monthly treatment fee. You can pay for 1,2,or 4 wks. at a time. He is self pay only (No insurance accepted)
