We used to attend this clinic till my husband was stabbed by another patient while waiting on line to dose. This man who I will call Steve would come in everyday skip everybody waiting to pay and than skip everybody waiting to dose. Now this was a everyday thing Steven would never stand and wait in line like everyone else and no one every said a word to hom about it. Many complained to the clinic but nothing was done at all. They would stand right there and watch him jump the line. So daniel( our company's employee) was in line with my husband ( Tony) and when Steven jumped the other 20 people in line and than cut line right in front of my husband & Daniel. Daniel spoke up and said no you not infront of me or Tony. Steven got really rude and jumped all in Daniel face. Now my husband spoke up and told Steven he needed to go back to his ace in line. And as my husband turned to walk away Steven swing what my husband thought was his fist. And made contact. Per the police in the video it looks like he was trying to slit my husband throat. Well my husband defended himself not knowing he was cut across the face from his mouth to the tip of his ear. My husband hit him a few times till he realized something was really wrong and he stopped and began to walk away. As my husband Tony walked away this man came to his feet stabbed my husband in the back. Which that knife wound almost took his life because it went through his lung diagram and with a 1%4 inch of his heart from the back. Steven was than able to flee on foot. He was caught the next day charged with attempted 1st degree murder and Assault was a deadly weapon with intent to kill or inflict serious bodily injury. So while this clinic has no metal detectors and not to mention Steven had been allowed to cont his skipping and aggressive behavior. But don't you know my husband was told he could no longer attend that clinic and was made to abandon his treatment because this clinic failed to follow up on patients complaints and correct this man behavior. Had the clinic done there job and 1st never allowed any weapons inside as the sign on the door had said no weapons allowed. This would have never happened. But than to Deny my husband treatment because they failed to uphold there own policy's is right down wrong. And totally failed my husband and his recovery in everyday. And if anything made it worse because now my husband has had to go back on pain meds for a short time which caused him to lose all the work he had put into his recovery.

I transferred to this clinic from another 1 & I love the atmosphere here I love the people I deal with on a daily basis here such as the nurses, & the receptionist is awesome!! The ONLY thing I have an issue is with the type of specific county/state Medicaid that they take to pay for treatment, I have eastpointe which is from another county not Cumberland county where the facility is located, & right now they don’t take my specific Medicaid, they take Alliance Medicaid & other insurance companies but not eastpointe I know & im not sure the names of the other 3 nc Medicaids available depending on your county. I was told I could get in touch with my Medicaid worker & request they switch over my Medicaid but im not sure how true that is I requested with my Medicaid worker & im just waiting to hear back with the solution she was able to come up with her supervisor bc up until the past 4 yrs I always paid them the clinic I was going to started reviewing state funding so I no longer had to pay Medicaid would pay for it everyday they just want pay for take homes So I have been told im not sure how true that is eitherm
