My husband recently began his treatment here for opioid addiction. The staff is exceedingly knowledgeable and helpful. They treat him with respect and dignity and always make a point to let him know how proud they are of his ongoing recovery and progress. The counselors are wise and really know their patients. They treat them like people and not just an addict. I am extremely pleased with his progress here and he truly feels he gets everything he needs here. Thank you all for being so wonderful.

Friendly staff! If you come early there's not much time to wait in line. This place has changed my life!

If you are trying to stay dependent on methadone, then this is the place for you. However, if you are trying to rehabilitate and get off substance dependence, then go elsewhere. After helping a friend for over a year, and doing some digging, it turns out that this clinic only makes money if you stay addicted. If you rehab and turn yourself around, they loose money. So they are always looking to up your dosage, never to drop it. Their counselors are a joke, they don't even care about the root of the issues in their patients lives and their doctors are usually MIA. Patients are not given a roadmap of what is to come next; nor are they told how long it would be before they no longer need assistance. They expect you to stay dependent on them for ever. If you attempt to lower your dosage so that you can get off, then they start making your life difficult with constant drug tests, breathalyzers, and making you come in everyday by not giving you take home dosages. IDK how other clinics work, but I'm trying to help my friend find somewhere else to go... This place only wants to keep you addicted.

When you do go up there and if you have any insurance at all, have them check it. They will ask for a copy of DL and insurance card and you can find out in a few days if Ins. Company can help pay. Also they have something too for help in cost if you live in Cumberland co
I believe so but you'd need to call or visit them to ask for more info. It would likely just be a matter of paperwork shown from your previous facility.
All programs have to give curtosy medication ...especially for an emergency but they charge like $10 to $20 bucks
Yes if you live in Cumberland county you can apply for state funding
I think it depends on the patient and the patients amount of drug use prior to receiving treatment and the tolerance and how the patients metabolism burns off the medication! Basically it's a process to find the right amount of medication needed to help a patient with the right amount of medication to be successful in his/her treatment program!!
You will still get your daily dose but if you have worked on a take home system, you lose it. If you get flagged I think 3 months in a row dirty UA then they start a % decrease detox till you have a clean UA. Also if you dont have money that day to pay for dose they do the same kind of decrease
Nothing, won't get your take home's, but if you keep failing them they will put you on detox till you pass!
To meet the general criteria for admission to our Comprehensive Treatment Center, patients must be: - Age 18 or older - In a current state of withdrawal, with at least 20 hours having passed since they last used opioids - Opioid-dependent for at least the past year Prospective patients may call or walk in to schedule an intake appointment. Upon arrival, you’ll spend approximately four hours working with our counseling team to develop a personalized treatment plan that can help you begin to understand your diagnosis and end your opioid use.
Yes, we offer both individual and group counseling.
Our clinic typically accepts Medicaid, Medicare, Commercial Insurance and Self-Pay. Please give us a call for further information.
Yes you can choose Subutex, or methadone, or Suboxone. It's whatever the person chooses to be their medication and mg to recovery.
Yes they do!!!
Yes but it's a process (blame federal govt not the clinics themselves). Go to your home clinic tell them when and where for your guest dosing (a week prior before leaving) also ask FOR ANY FEES (CTC doesn't do this last I checked but other clinics made me do a 1 time $25 fee plus dose fee 😑 I was so mad but that $25 fee was good for a year so if I used the place again I didn't have to pay another, just fyi for future) also day before if able CALL AHEAD TO CONFIRM they have your guest dose paperwork. Trust me on that. It's so ridiculous all of this ☝️ but save you some heartache and anger later
Current time during Saturday and Sundays 6:00 a.m. to 7:00 a.m. Monday through Friday 5:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m.
So if you switch from another clinic they will not let you transfer your takehomes over??? That's odd. Do they at least let you stay at your normal dose??? Otherwise why transfer at all? You miles well just come in and start all over. That doesn't make sense to me.
What are you looking to take? Methadone or Suboxone/Subutex? This place doesn't write Rx's for methadone; You must dose daily at the clinic but about every 90-120 days you can phase up & earn "take-home" doses (starting at 1, then 3,4,5, & up, depending on your phase) as long as you are compliant (i.e. attending required classes, no dirty UA's, etc.) I'm not 100% sure about the Suboxone/Subutex rules, but I know it's similar whereas you must dose daily until a trust level/proven success in treatment is obtained & then I believe you can be given Rx's for some of your days. Don't quote me on that as I'm not on Suboxone/Subutex. Dr. Augustin Nerva @ Murray Fork Clinic on Morganton Road will start out writing you a weekly Rx of Subs & then as long as you're UA is opiate free at your next appt., he'll write a Rx for up to 1 month of Subs, dependent upon how much you pay of the total monthly treatment fee. You can pay for 1,2,or 4 wks. at a time. He is self pay only (No insurance accepted)
Yes, you will not pay a dime. Not a new patient fee or daily fee.
If I remember correctly that only applies for the Suboxone strips I think you may have a 1-3 mo trial base (and clean screens) then you are able to get full month prescription. Subutex is 3 full months of clean screens = 1 take home. (So next 3 mo clean = 2 day take homes etc) So..if my math is correct (1 year = 1 week take home so 2 years of compliance and clean screens before a month of take homes
Yes
Not exactly. Its not quite a walk in fill out a paper and get a dose. You do fill out a portfolio, do a drug screen and blood test with nurse and chat with a counselor. They are the ones that tell you "wait 24 hr and come back for your first dose." I promise it's not that bad. So dont wait till you are in DTs before going there.
Usually. It depends on the drugs you've been doing, and several variables. They can't give you an accross the board yes or no. But it's been my experience that if you have only been doing opiates you can usually start off with methadone the same day you see the doctor. They open at 5 and some days the doctor is there early some days he comes in later (like around noon). You have to realize there are different circumstances for different people.
