As long as physically possible!!! It's amazing
I would make it an all day adventure!!
We arrived at opening and left at closing. Kids took about 30 minutes for lunch, lite deli there, then worked it off.
This place is literally an all-day event. On the weekends I know they stay open really late too. There is so much to see and so much to explore you honestly cannot fit everything into one day. And how old are exhibits change every year there's always something new to see when you go in.
You can stay there for hours!! There's something there for everyone to enjoy!!
Minimum of 2 hours. It is an amazing st louis treasure!
We were there all day and i had to drag my three boys aged 13, 10,10 out!
3 to 4 hours to explore properly. Decent on premise lunch options on site
My kids usually go strong for 4-6 hours before they slow down and do the less active activities like the art room.
With kids, it might be good to split up over two days. It can get exhausting. If you're making a special trip, I'd suggest seeing if there are any events while you're there like a clown class or marshmallow roasting.
Depends how deep and far ya want to go! If you have the energy to keep up lol could easily spend 4-6 hours there.
My wife and I can spend an entire afternoon there
We stayed about 6 hours. And didn't see half of it. Planning another trip and this time going to museum 2 days. Kids loved it
2.5-3 hours is a good estimate. If they've opened the roof back up, you may end up being there for a little bit longer.
Most people spend a few hours, many people love the tall slide amoung many other things there.
I'd say more than 2 hours, most likely around 3
