Do you have to have a drivers license to get a motorcycles license/endorsement or can you just have an Identification card (ID)

Yes you do need to have a driver's license for a motorcycle endorsement. We are unable to issue a first time motorcycle endorsement at our office.

It's an endorsement, yes you need a valid driver's license.
