I am completely fed up with Entergy Louisiana. They have been nothing but a headache for the past 9 months to 1 year. Hurricane Ida messed up my home so I moved had the power turned off in October. I still got charged for a security light (that stopped working when Ida hit) until February. They rolled that into my 2nd electric account at my new address but I'll get back to that. No one bothered to tell me I had to give the permit office my Entergy account number to get my power turned on it ended up taking an extra 2 weeks because of that. They closed my account because someone else had gotten power turned on at my address. How does that happen? Keep reading the answer is there They did come out the same day to turn it back on but this new account has the charge for the security light and all the power I had used from the day I moved in. Spoiler alert I had been paying someone else's electric bill because when they installed my meter they entered the wrong meter number. I have called them several times to try to get this fixed meanwhile paying down the extra $500 electric bill. I keep getting no answer and no help but let me not pay this $400 bill they sent me I'm sure they will turn me off. Just so sick of dealing with them.

Never had a bill close to $200 since building my house, started rising mid winter (all gas not home not provided by them) last month over $300. This is a horrible company.

Entergy is taking advantage of our communities.

I have to pay 2-3x the amount of my normal bill to cover the CEO’s raise for this year. If Entergy wasn’t a monopoly in Louisiana, I’d cut them off asap.

We have multiple crews working on restoration projects throughout the system! There was a tropical storm with high winds and rain that brought numerous trees down onto the lines! Our crews are working long hours to restore power in all areas!
You would need to call Entergy.
I’ve been dealing with this exact situation. They have my permits. I just bought a new mobile home. And somehow paperwork got messed up and they had us labeled as “underground trench work” when everything is overhead. Now my husband and I have to wait on an engineer that was supposed to get back with us 3 days ago to verify that it’s overhead work, we’re on a “waiting list” till the 7th of July. It’s ridiculous
That office isn't open for customers. You need to call 1-800-ENTERGY (1-800-368-3749)
