If you believe the cats and kittens are being neglected you will need to contact the police in your area for them to begin an investigation to involve our Humane Society, or another animal welfare organization if you are outside the Saranac Lake area. If you know the pet owner please let them know they can call our office for pet placement assistance or if they are having a hard time affording pet food, cat litter and spay/neuter surgeries. We have a special fund to provide pet food, supplies and financial aid to low income pet owners who are looking to have their dogs or cats spayed/neutered at local veterinary hospitals.
