There is the Greece Ridge Mall close by and lots of chain restaurants to eat... Visit the Dinosaur BBQ downtown...
Rochester Zoo is very nice. There is a toy museum. If you don't mind a bit of a drive (30 minutes) there is the Genesee Country Village and Museum. You can easily spend all day there. George Eastman Museum, depending on their ages. A mall with a movie theater is about five minutes from the hotel. Mini golf course a little further than the mall. The Erie Canal runs through Rochester. Remains of the old canal are all over.
I don't know.... my stay was an Adults Only Weekend. I do suggest Googling Kid Friendly things to do near me
There is a mall within 5 minutes, zoo is 15, as well as the beach.
