Not the best choice of a place to stay if you want smoking rooms.

All rooms at The Inn at Middleton Place are strictly non-smoking rooms. Additionally smoking is not permitted within Middleton Place, National Historic Landmark

There IS an inn at Middleton Place. It is lovely but I don't know their smoking policy.
