Would you prefer that they instantly teleport to your home the second you have an issue. Cause that's possible....please detect my sarcasm. I also find it hard to believe that they refused to show you the contract lol there are exclusions in any contract....insurance is pretty widely known to be less than accommodating. I have bought so much furniture from that store and been pleased with quality and customer service. Tiffany is who I work with everytime I need something. I dint know who you spoke to but I'm sure it wasn't tiffany. That girl should be a manager by now. I understand you're not happy but you obviously liked the furniture and your experience buying or you wouldn't even have a contract to complain about. So maybe lay off on bashing them til you have exhausted all possibilities of a resolution. Just saying.
Do not but anything from this store. I bought my son a bed for $1234.71. the box spring broke within 2 weeks. It was inspected and was told it couldn't be replaced because they no longer have it and I needed to upgrade to a more expensive one. when I refused to pay more, over was magically found but could not be delivered until 10/9(this was almost a month away) then the metal frame split. Never saw metal do that before which caused the mattress to buckle. I called customer service yet again and was told frame and box spring were not refundable and they could only give me $100 gift card towards a new mattress!!! You would save more money if you just had a bon fire and threw a grand in there. They do but stand behind their product because they are straight trash. Safe yourself time, money and frustration and go elsewhere.
They refused to give me the contract for the insurance for review in the store when the flyer they handed me said it was available for review. They told me the contract was online. It isn't. I only could see the contract after the delivery which is exactly when it's too late to cancel. I didn't want to get it for this reason but was convinced by my shopping partner. The contract is loaded with exclusions, Bob's is deceptive they screwed up my delivery and like yourself am done with them.
I recently had a problem getting a claim resolves with Bob's and I also decided to never do business with them again. I had purchased many items in the past without incident. I purchased a reclining sofa and loveseat in July 2016. The leather fabric started peeling 😩 st the head/shoulder section. I filed a claim in February. Followed all instructions I received via email from Guardian, the provider of the goof proof policy to no avail. In June I called the 800 number and was advised to go into the local store where I purchased the furniture. The 2 ladies I spoke to in Customer service on June 22nd did not help. When I asked to speak to the store manager they refused to call him/her. They informed me they would file a claim internally and I would hear from them in 48hours. I left Bob's and went around the corner to Raymour and Flanigan and had an excellent experience. Needless to say I did Not hear from Bob's in 48 hours. I really felt I was getting the round around.
Bobs warranty is great. The goof proof like other small warranties is a scam!
