Anyone else having issues with scheduling? I’m honestly considering going to the State newspaper or WIS. A comedy of errors on the part of the VA. Only it’s not funny at all

As a veterens that goes there the va send out letter several calls Billie there plenty of ways the va trys to get in contact with you including myhelthyvet also you can request at anytime a printout of your upcoming appointments in before or during the week you will get several calls until you confirm appointment

As a veteran and employee, it's not just this VA. It's pretty much all the VAs I've been to. But doctors quit, psychologists quit, which means for veterans we have to start all over again. A doctor can say, "yes I will take you as a patient again" but what he says doesn't always goes with the policy which he cannot bend. Unfortunately it is inconvenient for the veterans to start over and I have given up many times. It's difficult to find a therapist or doctor that suits you well. And most people give up when they should be insisting to see all the therapists and psychologists and doctors to find the one that matches you. Even then there's no guarantee that doctor/psychologist/therapist will stay. But what i can tell you is that the VA does NOT do what they want at the expense of the veterans. Medicaid should be your first insurance, not the VA. It applies to everyone. It's the same as a retiree if you go to the army or navy hospital.

My dr quit and i had an appt and nonody notified me. I was told to reschedule with a new dr. I did. Now im out of my pain meds and most dr dont like to give them. I have to start all over. And the dr i had in the the past was a good dr so i requested him. They told me he did not want me as a patient. That was a lie because he told me if i came bk to try to request him. The va does what they want at the expence of the veterans. And if u have medicade they send ur bill to them and collect the money. Typical gov issue bs. Goid luck to ya and ty for your service 🙂

BEEN A YEAR 1/2 STOKE LIKE SYMTUMS AND HIGH BLOOD PRESSURE SPIKES HAVING TROUBLE 12 WEEKS NO ANSWER YET WHY BP GOES 199/110 ITS YOU WORRY TOO MUCH SEEMS TO BE THE VA ANSWER TREAD MILL BROKEN CANT TAKE TEST WAS THE EXCUSE NOTHING BEING LOOKED INTO!! THEY TALKED USEING CHEMS TO STRESS THE HEART THATS MORE RISKY I THINK! HEART CLINIC NEEDS TWO TREAD MILLS FOR BACKUP FOR VET CONSTANT CARE!
