If you are coming from NJ I drove to staten island ferry and took the ferry and walk to 911 museum. Parking is cheaper in staten island than NY city. Ferry is free of charge.
Walk to the subway station going down town. Take the E train. The sign on top should say 5av/53st. Get off at the PATH station.
