You can try the ASPCA on 91st York Avenue. They will work with you. Cost 45.00 to walk in and they will do a payment plan for you.

Good luck. If you call a payment plan helpful, then this is the place to go. They were not helpful to me, I could only suggest contacting a city shelter or animal organization for information about low cost pet care and where to get help for rescued animals.

There prices aren't that bad but you can always go in & asked for help especially since the dog was given to you there work with you. I hope it helps.
