360 Adams St, Room 189, Window 5 or 6. Bring your index number and photo ID. They will not release documents to you unless you were a party to the action. This of course, assumes that you got divorced in Kings County. You can only get copies of divorce papers in the actual county that you filed for it. Sorry, if this seems obvious, but at least half the people that show up looking for there divorce papers were actually divorced in some other county or state and expect Brooklyn to have records of it.
I don't remember the date or the index number, what do I do
Please help me with a copy of my Divorce papers.
I was divorce in Brooklyn 2002
