Where do I go to get an Authentication Certificate? I'm selling a home that I own in Puerto Rico and the attorney has asked for this document. I was told I would have to go to the County Clerk's office.

Confirm that the Notary that has signed your document is qualified in Kings County...this info should be stated on their stamp/seal. If they are, go to 360 Adams St, it's easier to go to the side entrance by the parking lot. Tell the Court Officer at the entrance that you need a notary authentication, room 189, window 6, and you will be assisted. The fee for each document is $3 cash, exact change only at this time. The public is not being allowed inside, but you will helped at the door.
