Alek-ex you can buy food but it is so very expensive, your best bet is to eat before you go. Also dear tourists know this...not every street food vendor is one you can trust. The certified ones have an actual letter on them a for good. Plus always look at the vendors gloves or lack there of, look at where you are...and always be kind to the vendor that gives you your food, if not...you might get sick. A real newyork treat is candied roasted nuts!! Get some when they are hot!!
Yes, snacks and basic food can be bought on site. Tickets allow you to go in and out at will. It is recommended to go outside and walk the streets nearby to find food.
There is also a restaurant on the way in/out. Pizza, sandwiches, salads and slushes. Pretty good food for the money
