My son and I had a great time and can't wait to come back to visit after the full museum is built!

Visited as a hip hop fan from Canada (Vancouver particularly) and this was one of the most in-depth, technological, advanced, informative and fun museum I’ve ever been to! The history behind some of the relics that were presented was incredible and it was so great learning more than I thought I did as a self-claimed “hip-hop historian” lol. The way they were able to get some of these pieces seems quite rare and it’s evident that the owner/operator has deep-rooted experience in the scene and has the right to tell the story! The curators did an amazing job and I can’t wait to come back to the new location that will be located across the street, estimated completion in 2024!

it’s a nice introduction for what is coming in 2024 , great collection such as RUN DMC/LL Cool J jackets, artist contracts , mixtapes original posters, stage props like Slick Ricks throne. i wont spoil the rest just come and visit the exhibition. can’t wait to visit the museum

Go! Mostly a self-guided exhibit, but one of the curators and his son are around to interact and point things out. It's a great time from beginning to end! The amount of authentic paraphernalia from the diff genres (like tapes and sneakers), the videos of interviews, the concert posters.... just amazing! If you're into hip hop, it's definitely a must-see exhibit. I'm looking forward to visiting the full museum in the future.

Can I just show up to the exhibit or do I have to buy a ticket
I think $20/ea.
Hi Marvin, our exhibit [R]Evolution of Hip Hop is $10 per person. Tickets are on our website.
Hi Alejandra, we do have an exhibit called [R]Evolution of Hip Hop and you can check our website for more details.
Hi Fabian, we would love to have tickets for free however, we do need to pay our staff and to pay the bills and other things. Tickets will be affordable though and most likely we will give discounts to the people who live in the community as well.
The first part of the exhibit is about the 70s and will be up until June then we will begin curating the history of the early 80s.
