A true hidden gem in the East Village. So much to see and learn at this museum. It’s useful that the exhibits have been updated to reflect current events, and there is a full room dedicated to showing large photographs of what’s going on. There are three levels to this museum, and you could easily spend 1-2 hours here. The more interesting are the ground floor and second floor exhibits.

This museum in the LES takes about an hour to visit all three floors and there's a lot of interesting artwork. You couldn't avoid contemporary mentions of Russia's invasion, but there was also plenty of folk art that really captures the essence of Ukrainian culture. For newcomers, a bit more context and history could've been useful, but I had a good time walking around and seeing stuff.
