I have read through some of the questions - but want to confirm - there IS NOT a single admission to ONLY the planetarium. Is this correct? So if my wife and I ONLY wanna go to the planetarium, we still need to buy an all access pass?

You cannot buy only planetarium admission, but you can go there with a general admission ticket. Those tickets are "pay as you wish." So you do not have to buy an all access pass. If you want to see the film in the planetarium there is a set fee for that.
